Katy Brett is a designer whose practice is driven by revitalising vernacular tradition. Through the application of contemporary manufacturing methods to pre-industrial forms, site-specific experiences are immortalised, emphasising an interconnected existence reflective of displacement and home-making in our Anthropocenic age. Born in London and of proud Scottish ancestry, she now lives and works in New York.
