The first exhibition of a series dedicated to international contemporary design, MAKERS 1 unfolds around two categories of materials – wood and metal – to consider their possibilities of application in the present. Adopting a hands-on, three-dimensional approach to design as its key principle, MAKERS 1 takes on the question of form by addressing the truth of materiality, the abstractions of technique, and the infinite project of bringing thought into being.
